Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer recognized for her roles performed as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The television series The Mentalist. She received a BA from Brown University in African-American Studies. At the Tisch school of the arts, New York University she obtained an MFA. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer. She is involved in the world of film and television. Her acting career started in the theater. She then appeared in numerous television shows in independent films, mainstream and movies. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character who appeared on ABC's Quantico. The BET's massive series The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. Not only did she get praise from critics for her performance, but she was also awarded and nominations. In 1995 she made her acting debut in The Tempest as Ariel. Alongside Broadway's Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to her film career, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her work in television she's received praise for her role as the regular character in ABC's cop drama High Incident.
