Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on the 13th of June, 1986 at Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the firstborn child of Ellen and Gerald Dennings. Ellen Dennings who is Kat's maternal grandmother is a journalist and speech therapist. The father of Kat is Gerald. Gerald is a professor in a prestigious college as well as a molecular biologist. Dennings is the youngest of five siblings and born to an orthodox Jewish parent and father, is an accomplished actress. Dennings was only a brief student at conventional school, and she was educated in a home setting. Since she started acting early she was best off homeschooling her. When she was 14, she finished high school. Already at age nine, she started to act in commercials.
