Kristen Anne Bell, born July 18, 1980] in the USA is an American actress. Her acting career began at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. While there she was a part of performances on stage. The musical comedy The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was her Broadway debut. The Crucible revival came out in the following year. In 2004, she starred in the action-thriller Spartan (2004). The film was also recognized for her portrayal of Becky Thatcher from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The following year she made her Broadway debut in a revival of The Crucible. The 2014 movie, she reprised her role as the title character in the new season, she played the title character. During her time in Veronica Mars, Bell starred in the role of Mary Lane in the musical film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) which was a reprise of the role she had previously played in the New York musical of the same name.Bell starred as Elle Bishop in the superhero drama series Heroes from 2007 until 2008. Bell voiced the titular narrator on the teen drama series Gossip Girl. She will reprise the role in the sequel, which will premiere in 2021. Bell also played the role as Jeannie van den Hooven, the lead female character in Showtime's comedy show House of Lies. She starred in the lead character of Eleanor Shellstrop on the critically popular NBC comedy show The Good Place, receiving an Golden Globe Award nomination for her performance. Bell was also the main character in the streaming series The Woman in the house Just across the street from The Girl in the Window.
